At Velorian Light, we make payments simple and secure for customers across the United Kingdom. This page explains how we process payments, which methods we accept, and what to expect if you need a refund or have a query.
Security of Payments
All card transactions are processed through trusted, PCI DSS‑compliant payment providers. We use industry‑standard SSL encryption to protect any data transmitted to our checkout. Velorian Light never stores full card details on our servers.
We follow UK Strong Customer Authentication rules (PSD2/SCA) where applicable. This means you may be asked to confirm your identity using your bank’s chosen verification method (for example, 3‑D Secure).
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept a range of secure payment options to make checkout convenient:
- Debit & Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro.
- Klarna: Pay now, pay later, or spread payments; subject to Klarna’s terms and credit checks.
- Apple Pay: Fast, secure payments on Apple devices.
- Shop Pay: Available where supported by the checkout.

Currency & Foreign Exchange
All prices shown and charged are in British Pounds (GBP £). If your bank or card provider bills in another currency, they may apply an exchange rate and fees — these are set by your bank, not Velorian Light.
Order Confirmation
When a payment is authorised, you will receive an order confirmation to the email address you provided. This message includes your order number and a digital receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation, check your junk folder and then contact us at info@velorianlight.com.
Declined or Failed Payments
Payments can be declined for various reasons including:
- Insufficient funds
- Incorrect card details entered
- Bank or card issuer blocks or security checks
If a payment fails, please check the details you entered and try another method. If issues persist, contact your bank or the payment provider. You can also email us at info@velorianlight.com and we’ll try to help.
Refunds
If your order is cancelled or a return is approved, we issue refunds to the original payment method whenever possible.
Typical processing times:
- Card payments: refunds usually appear within 3–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Klarna: refunded according to Klarna’s policies.
- Apple Pay / Shop Pay: processed according to the payment provider’s timings.
We’ll always confirm by email when a refund has been issued.
Queries, Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have questions about a payment, please contact our customer team at info@velorianlight.com. We aim to respond within one business day.
If you do not recognise a charge on your statement, contact us first so we can investigate. If you instruct your bank to raise a chargeback without contacting us, it may delay resolution; we will still cooperate fully with your bank’s process.
