Article 1 – Definitions
Cooling-off period: The period during which a customer may cancel an order without giving a reason.
Consumer: An individual purchasing for personal use and not connected to a business activity.
Day: A standard calendar day.
Fixed-term contract: An agreement that lasts for a clearly defined period.
Durable medium: Any format that stores information without alteration, such as email or PDF.
Right of withdrawal: The customer’s legal right to cancel an order within the cooling-off period.
Trader: Velorian Light, the retailer offering goods online.
Distance contract: Any agreement concluded remotely without face-to-face interaction.
Distance communication: Methods used to conclude contracts remotely.

Velorian Light operates in line with UK consumer protection laws and aims to provide clear, transparent policies.
Article 3 – Applicability
These terms apply to all online offers, purchases, and distance contracts made with Velorian Light. By placing an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
A copy of the terms is available before checkout and can be supplied again upon request. Digital orders always include an accessible version.
If specific product conditions differ from these general terms, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer will apply.
Should any clause become invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
Article 4 – Offers
All offers made by Velorian Light are non-binding and may be updated without notice. Any time-sensitive promotions or requirements will be clearly stated.
Product descriptions are written carefully, but slight variations in colour or appearance may occur. Such differences do not justify compensation.
Each offer clearly states pricing, payment options, delivery information, and any additional charges. Import duties or customs fees, where applicable, remain the customer’s responsibility.
Article 5 – The Contract
A contract is formed once the customer completes checkout and payment is confirmed. A confirmation email will be sent immediately after.
We use strict security measures to protect personal and payment data. Orders that appear fraudulent or unreasonable may be refused.
After a contract is formed, customers receive information on cancellation rights, warranties, and customer support.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
Customers may cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging.
Returns must include all accessories. The customer is responsible for return postage and must keep proof of return.
Cancellation must be requested via email within 14 days. Refunds are processed within 14 days upon receipt of the returned goods.
Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal
Return costs are paid by the customer. If the item arrives damaged or shows signs of use, Velorian Light may reduce the refund to cover the loss of value.
Refunds are always issued through the original payment method.
Article 8 – Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Personalised or custom-made items.
- Sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened.
- Goods with a short shelf life.
- Digital downloads once the download process has started.
Article 9 – Prices
All prices are shown in GBP (£). VAT is included where required by law. International orders may incur customs fees, which are the customer’s responsibility.
Obvious pricing mistakes may be corrected at any time. Velorian Light is not obliged to fulfil orders placed at incorrect pricing.
Article 10 – Conformity and Guarantee
Items must match their description. Any defect must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
Faulty goods will be repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with UK consumer rights. Damage caused by misuse or modification is not covered.
Article 11 – Delivery and Execution
Orders are processed carefully and delivered to the address provided at checkout. Typical delivery time is 7–30 days, depending on stock and product type.
Any delays will be communicated by email. If a delivery exceeds 30 days, the customer may cancel the order.
Risk transfers to the customer once the parcel is delivered.
Article 12 – Duration, Termination, and Renewal
Ongoing contracts: May be ended by the customer with no more than one month’s notice.
Fixed-term contracts: End automatically unless otherwise agreed.
Renewals: No automatic renewals unless explicitly accepted by the customer.
Subscriptions: Must be cancelled using the same method used to join.
Article 13 – Payment
Payment must be made during checkout. All payments are processed securely.
If payment fails or remains incomplete, Velorian Light may cancel or pause the order. Repeated payment issues may result in refusal of future orders.
Where applicable, reminder fees or interest may apply under UK law.
Article 14 – Complaints Procedure
Customers may send complaints to info@velorianlight.com including the issue description and order number.
We respond within 14 days. If more time is needed, we will notify the customer.
Unresolved matters may be escalated to a UK alternative dispute resolution service.
Submitting a complaint does not suspend payment obligations.
Article 15 – Disputes and Applicable Law
If a dispute arises, we aim to resolve it informally first. If that is not possible, UK law applies.
UK courts have jurisdiction. EU customers may bring disputes to courts within their own country under EU rules.
Article 16 – Personal Data
Personal information is processed according to UK GDPR.
Data is used solely for orders, deliveries, and customer support. Customers can request access, correction, or deletion at any time.
Personal data is never sold. Third-party access occurs only when necessary for deliveries or legal obligations.
Article 17 – Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions
Occasional errors in product information, pricing, or promotions may occur. These can be corrected without prior notice.
If an error affects an existing order, customers will be contacted immediately.
Article 18 – Changes to the Terms
Velorian Light may update these Terms when necessary. The latest version is published on the website.
Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email.
Article 19 – CESOP
From 2024, some payment providers must report certain cross-border transactions under EU CESOP regulations.
Velorian Light does not report payment data directly, but providers such as Klarna or Stripe may do so.
CESOP aims to improve tax transparency.
